PRINCIPLES OF PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

1. INTRODUCTION

1.1. These principles of personal data protection govern the process of obtaining, using, and managing the personal data of suppliers and customers who are natural persons (hereinafter referred to as “business partners”)

3. LEGAL REGULATION

3.1.When handling personal data, we comply with the legal order of the Czech Republic and directly applicable regulations of the European Union, especially with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter referred to as ‘GDPR’), and other generally binding legal regulations for the protection of personal data

4. ACQUISITION OF PERSONAL DATA

4.1. You provide us with your personal data, especially when filling out an order or entering into a contract. If there is any change in your personal information, please inform us.

4.2.During your visit and use of the web interface, there may be further acquisition and storage of some personal data through cookie files

5. PERSONAL DATA

5.1. We process the following personal data:

a) Name and surname, or company name;

b) Possibly company ID (IČO) and tax ID (DIČ);

c) Registered and contact address, and possibly billing and delivery address;

d) Contact person details;

e) Email address;

f) Phone number;

g) Bank account number.

6. PURPOSE OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA

6.1. The purpose of processing personal data is:

a) Contract performance – for the purpose of entering into a contract and properly fulfilling the contract or providing the service. This data processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR and serves the purpose of contract performance;

b) Compliance with legally established obligations – especially record-keeping obligations, archiving tax documents, etc. This data processing is based on Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR and serves the purpose of fulfilling legal obligations;

c) Legitimate interest – sending informational messages regarding materials, production facilities, packaging, price movements, and operational restrictions. The sending of informational messages will be done via your email. This data processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) and (f) of the GDPR and serves the purpose of contract performance and legitimate interest.

7. PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA FOR SENDING INFORMATIONAL MESSAGES

7.1. To send you our informational messages, we process the following personal data: name and surname, and email address.

7.2. The informational messages serve only as notifications about potential changes that could impact the fulfillment of the contract between the administrator and the business partner. The administrator believes that business partners should be properly and in advance informed about these changes, considering fair and ethical business practices.

7.3. The above-mentioned personal data will not be disclosed to third parties.

8. PROCESSING PERIOD

8.1. For the duration of the mutual contractual relationship or as specified by legal regulations.

8.2. We process personal data for the purpose of sending informational messages only for the duration of the mutual contractual relationship.

9. PROCESSORS AND RECIPIENTS OF PERSONAL DATA

9.1. To provide services and process personal data, we use data processors who manage website administration, handle cookie files, and provide delivery services

9.2. The processors handle data exclusively according to our instructions, and a data processing agreement has been concluded with them. They are bound to comply with the applicable regulations on the protection of personal data.

9.3. All processors have been carefully selected and will have access to your personal data only to the extent and for the duration necessary to provide the service or within the range you have authorized for the processing and use of personal data.

10. SECURITY OF PERSONAL DATA

10.1. We are committed to taking measures to prevent unauthorized or accidental access to personal data, their alteration, destruction, or loss, unauthorized transfers, and other unauthorized processing, as well as any other misuse of personal data. This obligation remains in effect even after the termination of the processing of personal data.

10.2. Our employees or other individuals processing personal data based on a contract, are obligated to maintain confidentiality regarding personal data, even after the termination of the employment or contractual relationship.

11. YOUR RIGHTS

11.1.

As a data subject, you have all the rights arising from the applicable data protection laws, especially the right to:

a) withdraw consent to the processing of personal data,

b) access personal data,

c) correct personal data,

d) erase personal data,

e) restrict the processing of personal data,

f) object to the processing of personal data,

g) transfer personal data to another administrator,

h) lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection if you believe that the administrator is processing personal data in violation of the applicable data protection laws

12. COOKIES

12.1. Cookies are text files stored on the computer or other electronic device of each visitor to http://www.kovoplazma.cz, which enable the functionality of the web interface. They are small amounts of data that a visited website sends to your device, where they are stored. During your next visit, the previously visited website can recognize, through the stored cookies, whether you have been on it before and which parts of the website you are viewing. Cookies also allow you to save your settings.

12.2. Not all cookies collect personal data. Some only enable the proper functioning of the web interface. You can refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your web browser

12.4. The web interface primarily uses the following services working with information obtained through cookies: Google Analytics and possibly other services provided by Google, as well as Sklik provided by Seznam.cz, a.s.
